Passionate cybersecurity professional seeking a Summer 2025 internship in network security, virtualization, and secure software development.
My journey in tech began at Murray State University in Kentucky, where I pursued a Computer Science major. During my studies, I discovered a deeper passion for networking and cybersecurity, leading me to transfer to Purdue University to specialize in Cybersecurity.
As a student, I’ve always wanted to help others with what I love most—computers and IT. Whether troubleshooting network issues, securing systems, or developing web applications, I strive to strengthen digital infrastructure and protect critical data.
Now, I’m actively seeking a Summer 2025 Cybersecurity Internship to gain hands-on experience in network security, virtualization, and secure software development while collaborating with innovative teams to build a safer digital future.
Started studying Computer Science at Murray State University, where I developed foundational knowledge in IT and programming.
Worked as a Student IT Support in the ESL department, assisting with computer lab setup, troubleshooting, and technical support. Also served as a Student Ambassador, guiding prospective students and supporting international student programs.
Transferred to Purdue University to major in Cybersecurity. Joined the Cybersecurity Club and attended college-level security workshops.
Conducted QA testing on Web 3.0 games inspired by the Saw franchise. Identified vulnerabilities in game mechanics and reported a critical bug that earned a performance bounty.
Served as a Network Communication Systems Specialist in the Republic of Korea Army. Managed military crypto devices, troubleshot brigade facility networks with 400+ devices, and maintained firewall traffic control, Genian NAC, and data backups.
Earned the Google Cybersecurity Certificate, developing expertise in SIEM tools, malware analysis, AI-driven threat detection, and risk mitigation.
Gained experience in Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and project lifecycle management through the Google Project Management Certificate.
Earned the Google IT Support Certificate, gaining hands-on skills in troubleshooting, networking, operating systems, and system administration.
Providing advanced IT support for Purdue's residential network, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and working closely with Network Engineering for critical infrastructure repairs.
Developed an interactive cybersecurity awareness tool with friendly questions designed specifically for non-technical audiences to improve password security practices.
Created a tool that identifies and flags hidden Unicode characters in text, preventing text manipulation attacks that can be used in phishing and social engineering.
Built an engaging New Year countdown timer application designed to help users prepare, motivate, and plan for the upcoming year with goal-setting features.
Designed an intuitive timer application focused on enhancing focus and productivity by helping users combat digital distractions through structured work intervals.
Led a team project to revolutionize room reservation systems, creating a seamless platform that combines innovative technology with user-friendly design to simplify booking processes.
